Our Bellari gas hob finally came out of the plastic bag. Not the conventional hob, it is tornado which give more heat than conventional hob at the cost of more gas I believe.
Our Samsung washing machine delivered on Saturday although I had called to change the delivery to 13 Dec. Sad that the washing machine is higher than the cabinet. Luckily we bought a good looking one or else....

Granite Worktop
Our Granite Worktop is done.
Although there is some minor defect, I am ok with it. The cut out at the sink is not straight. The left is out by 2mm when you are standing in front of it. Anyway, I worried the repair will damage my sink and accept the small defect.

Worktop at pantry area.
View at the sliding door. Our Bellari Tornado hob is fitted too. Now wait for the CityGas to link up the hob and done!! Can use for cooking. ;)

Dining and Master Bedroom Lights
Our Dining Lights revealed...

Our Master Bedroom Light...

Not lighted on the left and all 4 bulbs lighted on the right.

Daylight on the left and warm white on the right.
View from the Living room with the effect on the ceiling and surroundings. I wondering how it will be like with the tinted mirror up.
Our Master Bedroom Light...
The light had been repaired due to the defect. The manufacturer used the brown glue to glue the white fabric to the metal rim. The glue somehow got through and stained the white fabric. Amy from Chelsea went to the factory and found all the lights have the similar defect... I must said she is professional and went to the factory to find it out and told me that. She also personally took out the white fabric, cleaned it and glue it using the white glue. She also cover it with a layer of lace to make it better. Thumbs up for her!!

Carpentry Overview
An overview of the carpentry....

The first step into the house, you are greeting by the feature wall and TV console.

On a left turn, the shoe cabinet and the kitchen cabinets...

Making a right turn and walk down the passageway and into the master bedroom, the wardrobe.
That's all folks!!! :D

Kitchen Cabinets
The kitchen cabinets are up. Currently waiting for the granite worktop. Sebasten said that the worktop can only be measured after the cabinets are done. After the worktop is installed, the measurement of the glass splashback can then be done and install.
Our Bellari Hob is still in the box waiting for the worktop. The Bellari Hood and sink had been installed. Sebasten wondered why there is 3 holes on the sink and I told him the left is for the spray, center is for the tap and right is the detergent dispenser. He said that he didn't know that we bought the extra spray as he think it is not useful as our sink is small and water may drip below. Anyway I didn't explain that I need the spray to clean both the sink and washing machine. :P
The cabinet at the food preparation area aka pantry area.
The 2 tier dish rack is installed above the sink. It is not a big one due to the size of our sink but I guess it is enough of us. It is not like I am going to have 10 children ha ha ha.

The cultery tray is still in plastic bag. Not wanting to dirty it. :P
The drop door on the right is under the Hob. It is used to store all our pots and pans.
Dining Feature Wall
The feature wall in the dining area is almost done. Currently just waiting for the tinted mirror to be glued on and it is finished.

Water Storage
We got the storage heater thru our ID. I am lazy to go look around for it. The few dollars difference is just too much of a trouble. :P

It is Joven 35litres. I haven't got the chance to test it out yet.

We also went to Ikea and bought 2 toilet wall mount cabinets and a shower curtain bar. We didn't buy the curtain from Ikea because it is simply too expensive. Saw the cheap cheap kind at NTUC and decide to purchase that instead. Anyway no one will be using it now lor. :P

Shower Screen and Kitchen Sliding Door
Kitchen Sliding Door is up. Initial idea is to have a casement door but due to the size of the dining table, we had to change to a sliding door instead. The ideal size of the dining table is to be 1.4m in length but we bought a 1.6m one, therefore if we have the casement type then we will hit the dining table.

View of the sliding door from the kitchen and living room.

The track of the sliding door. Thinking ways to beautify it....
The master bedroom shower screen is up too.

Let there be lights... :)
The lights are fixed up and we can visit at night now.

The living room cove lights when lighted give a cosy feeling. The downlights are done but the electrical wiring ain't done yet. Maybe cool daylight is a bad choice for the downlights... Let's see the light up before getting the warm white. :P
The passageway light. Cannot see the lighted up as the electrical wiring is not done yet. Waiting for the feature wall to be up then the switches can be fixed to the wall.

The kitchen light. 2 PLL of 36W each. It is bright enough to do the cooking and washing. The dinning area light will be the last to be up. Stay tune. :D

The bedroom 2 and 3 light. It is using the normal 32W round tube.
The master bedroom entrance light. Chelsea gives us the warm white energy saving bulb, Sebasten recommends us to change to the 50cents incandescent bulb to give a better effect.
