Day 1 07 August 2010
We reached Bali at 1300hrs and took a taxi to All Seasons Legian Hotel. Upon checking in, we are given a free fruit juice, lollipop and wet towel to freshen up. Nice service here.
We had lunch at the hotel poolside restaurant and it was quite good.
At 4pm, I had made arrangement for a tour to the Uluwatu Temple to see the sunset. We also watched the Kecak and Fire dance which was recommended by my friend.
After the show, we went to Bali Discovery Mall. We had our all time favorite, must eat A&W. So nice having a root beer float. Some shopping at the mall before we catch a taxi back to hotel.
Day 2 08 August 2010
We set off early in the morning at 0900hrs. Today itinerary is quite long and most of the time was spent travelling. Traffic in Bali wasn't very smooth.
First we went to the Mengwi Village and visit the Royal Family temple.
Next we headed North to Bedugul to the Ulundanu temple by the lake Beratan. We had the most expensive buffet lunch at a restaurant our guide took us there, which we felt kena carrot headed and it was not nice...
After lunch, we headed South to see the Rice Terrace at Jatiluwih. Very very nice scenery there. Weather is cooling but after we left the place, it started pouring.
Lastly, we went to the Tanah Lot Temple to view sunset. It was a spectacular temple which was built on top of a rock 200m away from the shore. After a drink at the sunset terrace overlooking the temple with sun setting in the background, we headed back to hotel.
As the sunset is not over yet, we went to the Legian beach to enjoy the sea breeze.
For dinner, we tried the lonely planet guide book recommended warung. The food is nice and cheap too.
Day 3 09 August 2010
Today is the last day at Bali. We book a spa package which includes a traditional Javanese massage, a body scrub and an aromatherapy bath. All just for SGD$60 for the 2 of us. So relaxing.
After lunch at hotel, we went to the airport to return to Home, the place where we belong :P
